Our impact
A year of neighbors showing up for each other
In 2025 the San Francisco Unified Lions Club ran 42 service projects across all eleven districts — from vision screenings to park clean-ups to a winter coat drive that reached 1,300 families.
Most of that work happens quietly. A member spends a Saturday morning sorting donations; a volunteer drives an elderly neighbor to a clinic; a local business quietly covers the cost of 200 pairs of reading glasses. None of it makes the news, and all of it adds up to a city that looks after its own.
Where the year went
Our four focus areas stayed steady, and two new programs found their footing:
- Vision & hearing screenings for under-served schools
- Food security — weekly pantry support and holiday meals
- Youth scholarships for graduating high-school seniors
- Disaster readiness kits for at-risk households
