We are a community service club committed to fostering unity and collaboration in San Francisco and beyond. By partnering with community organizations and leveraging collective resources, we aim to address pressing challenges and build a brighter, more connected society.
Our story
How we started, who we serve
A decade ago, we planted seeds of service. Today, we celebrate a thriving legacy of hope, leadership, and community impact. For 10 years, our club has shown that small acts of kindness can create lasting change. As we look ahead, we remain committed to serving with purpose, inspiring others, and leaving our communities better than we found them.
July 2016
Chartered as the 50th club in our district
The San Francisco Unified Lions Club officially became the 50th club in our district, chartered under our Founder and Charter President, Lion Alvin Louie.
July 2021
Lion Carol Fung installed as President
A native San Franciscan, Lion Carol Fung was installed as President of the San Francisco Unified Lions Club.
Since 2021
A proud member of the Lions Eye Foundation
We support the Lions Eye Foundation's sight-saving work, with Lion Carol Fung serving as an advisor to the foundation.
2022–2023
Lion Tra Thach serves as President
Lion Tra Thach led the club’s officers and board of directors through the 2022–2023 Lions year.
2025–2026
Lion Danny Suh serves as President
Lion Danny Suh led the club’s officers and board of directors through the 2025–2026 Lions year.

Lion Carol Fung returns as President
